We at SCMS know one of the major components to student succes is to be organized. We have provided an assignment book for students to write in on a daily basis. For some, teacher initialing for correctness is a great way to insure both student's and parents' awareness of homework.
We encourage students to use one binder with 8 tabbed dividers, 8 pocket sheets, labeled by classes A1, A2, AB3, A4, B1, B2, B4 and Misc.
Students will need to purchase:
*Zippered plastic pouch with 3 holes to keep supplies
#2 pencils
pens (black, red)
ruled and graph paper
scissors
glue stick
colored pencils
dry erase markers (thin)
highlighter
protractor
calculator
Parents and students will have just one place to find all pertinent information. Students will have just one place for all classes' assignments. It is advisable for parents to look over completed assignments for neatness and accuracy.
It is recommended that students take their binder and planner home daily, place all homework in it, and bring it back to school the next day.
